This restaurant has the absolute nicest servers working here and my review is about the restaurant overall. No matter how busy they are, I’ve never experienced a rude server here. Unfortunately, for whatever reasons, you will either receive your food late and cold or not at all because you’ll get tired of waiting and leave. No matter the day of the week, whether busy or not, you will have a very difficult time receiving your order in a timely manner from the kitchen. Apparently, this restaurant has a group of owners who never visit nor tend to their investment. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews, and I almost never ask to meet the chef to thank them personally, but after my experience at Manam, I just had to. The food here absolutely deserves the praise. It seems they’ve recently revamped the place and brought in a new chef, and let me tell you, he’s knocking it out of the park. I’ve lived on the East Coast for several years now, and this is hands down the best South Tamil Nadu food I’ve ever had. You can find plenty of places serving the usual North Indian/Hyderabadi dishes, but if you’re looking for something unique like kothu parotta, country chicken fry, or crispy parotta, this is the spot. Chef Haja and the hospitality, Gangai Amaran, cl...

Authentic Indian restaurant with a great combo of north and south dishes. I particularly like their appams with egg and chicken curry. Their parothas and kal dosas are also super good. I found some of their mutton and chicken curries quite spicy. We ordered them with medium spice, but next time, I’ll go for mild. If you’re like me and have a low tolerance for spicy food, be sure to let the server know your spice preference when ordering. The food is very flavorful. The menu is extensive with plenty of options. Definitely going back to try their other dishes. ?
