We visit the Mandala as a group twice a year and on all occasions we are very satisfied. It is quick, wholesome food serviced by very friendly and pleasant staff. My only bug bear was the level of salt contained in some of the dishes.As a group of 5-7 people who bi annually dine at this restaurant, the fact that we continue to return despite the many choices on offer in Randwick says something. I was particularly struck by the service on this occasion. We were offered complimentary roti and desserts and it genuinely felt like the staff were accommodating and wanting us to enjoy our dining experience. Now, I've never been to Nepal before, but after eating at Mandala, I'm on the next flight over there.I have eaten in the restaurant and had two takeaways, and I've loved every bite. We especially enjoy the chicken and lamb dishes, and look forward to making our way through the menu one delicious dish at a time.
The food was okay nothing extraordinary, to much rice but small portions of meat. Just me and my boyfriend in the restaurant in a Friday night.When I asked to use the bathroom.... I found a terrible smell there I couldn't use it even stay more time in the restaurant.
Small and quiet restaurant. Nothing fancy but authentic Nepalese atmosphere. The food was really good. We tried the momo dumplings and different mains. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed dining there, will come again and recomand for sure !

My overall experience was very good. A nice ambience with friendly staff, delicious food which also came hot. The cost was average and good value. My only negative feedback is that initially the service was very slow in coming to take our order.
Excellente nourriture. Service amical Bon rapport qualité prix à l'argent du démarreur de Momo et Papadat à Saag Lamb Saag Chèvre et poulet au citron Yum! Nous serons de retour, même si nous vivons 4-5 heures.
I had a lovely dinner here and tried lots of dishes with a Nepali plate for one (Daal Bhat Masu) and a garlic naan. Service was very personable and friendly. Food was excellent!
Great food, very nice an friendly staff, cosy and quiet restaurant. We have been there twice, we recommend it! Good price for quality, we will go there again!
