The dining room has been nicely updated and is generally comfortable. The ambiance was enhanced by the warm glow of the fireplace and the faux candles on the tables. The inside of the exterior door could use a fresh coat of paint, but we were really there for the food. The menu was quite extensive, and this is where Mandy's truly stands out. The food quality is excellent, the portions are generous, and many dishes are homemade. The chicken tenders, made from real chicken breast with light breading, are handmade in-house. The hand-cut fries are small, crispy, and delicious. The chicken quesadilla was one of the best we've ever had. Plus, you can't beat their slice of cheesecake with cherries...
I went there on a suggestion from a friend to try the Loganberry BBQ chicken wings and they hit it out of the park. Wings were cooked perfectly, sauce was absolutely amazing!! Also tried the Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms and they were absolutely delicious!! Today my visit back to see my Mom and my hometown ends but I am taking a couple double orders of wings home to share with my family in San Antonio Texas!! I will be back when I visit again!! Great service, great place and delicious food!! Thank You Mandy's Cafe I would give you 11 stars if I could!! The shrimp was huge and delicious, The fish fry was excellent, french fries extra crispy just like we ordered, and the chef salad was very good.
