I ran into this shop to grab a bunch of drinks as I was working nearby and the group was very dehydrated. I only had card and cash was all that was accepted. I began to leave the store and they offered me all the drinks for no money and said just come back and pay next time. Hugely generous, this place demonstrates a real sense of community and I will absolutely stop in to repay the favour when next in town. Highly recommend!
Been a fan for over 20 years with their high quality fresh meat and salad, not forgetting the wonderful fish all BBQ 'd on their fabulous charcoal grill. Reminds me of my childhood with this style of cooking when we would go to the beach for the weekend and families would cook their dinner like this and the cold beers would be in the sea in net bags to keep them cold. : .
Went last night for the first time for a pick up meal , on arrival there were 4 to 5 men without their masks on were eating in the premises over the counter and chatting away to glory! Even under normal circumstances eating over the counter in unhygienic and unacceptable, let alone during these times. Needless to say didn't get my order and never going back again!!
The best kebab you will ever taste! Chicken shish and Halumi on the charcoal is incredible. HOWEVER....’cash only’ in the age of Covid is not good.unnecessary and inconvenient . Also please can you get rid of all the styrofoam packaging. It’s bad for the environment, can’t be recycled. Cardboard box would be far better.
