So no place is all wonderful or all awful. Keep that in mind. The servers were a delight and the atmosphere was festive. The food was not great (okay the bread was amazing), but outside of that, not so great. Pasta was too al dente and the dessert was not memorable. The sausage was yummy and authentic and the Chianti wine was great! Would love to see an improvement in most of the food overall. I 'm so bummed to learn that the owner ends his responses to negative review with we accept your apology. If his responses were more polite, I 'd return for a 2nd try. One of the most fun experiences I've had at a restaurant. The dancing was so fun...it was surreal to get to do that in real life. The chef obviously LOVES what he does, as does the staff. All are warm and friendly. We went with celiac friends and the chef/staff couldn't have been more understanding or accommodating. Don't listen to bad reviews about the amount of food. There was SO MUCH. And high quality. Hours are clearly posted. If they had a bad experience...that's 200% on them.
I've enjoyed so many experiences here in my home town of nashville and this one did not disappoint. I'm still talking about the lemon chicken and tiramisu. I took classes in Italy and was a bit of a skeptic if nashville chef could meet my expectation. OH my goodness Tony! The food was incredible, the fun, the dancing, the service, Perfect! Mangia has switched their business plan and they are only doing Friday and Saturday night with a set menu. It will not disappoint. I have celiac disease and the gluten free is so amazing you will NEVER know the difference. What a fun night with amazing food, music and dancing. This is a MUST if you are in Nashville on a Friday or Saturday night.

Great, exclusive, intimate, authentic experience! We very much enjoyed our night at Mangia. The only reason it was not 5 stars is there are not meatless alternatives. So if you have dietary restrictions with meat, you miss out on a few of the courses, which you are paying for. All the courses that I could eat were fantastic though!
We ate here tonight to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. We didn't really know what to expect but wow...what a great place! So inviting, great food and it felt like our own Italian family. Thanks for making the day so special for not only my son but for everyone that went with us.
Great family dinner event! Expensive, but we'll worth the memories! One of our group has alpha-gal, so he couldn't have any mammalian meat. The staff was great to bring him extra of a shrimp dish.
Amazing Italian food and an atmosphere to match! I can't recommend enough the Friday night family style dinners. Attend one ASAP
