"Ordered the BBQ pork and shrimp fried rice. Asked for spicy and they delivered. Appetizers were pretty good too. The decor doesn't have anything special but it feels modern and most important, clean. Staff was friendly."

Visited Mango King tonight with my wife and Chinese friends. Although a little out of the way, at the bottom of Homer Watson 401, across from Conestoga College, it was well worth the trip. Arriving at 5:30+ , almost 1 2 the restaurant was full. A very pleasant waitress was quickly at the table asking for our drink or appetizer orders. After my wife ordered her white wine I left my host to do the food ordering as he is quite knowledgeable in these matter and was able to converse in Chinese. Regretfully, for our stomachs, Chinese have a habit of 'over ordering ' as the do so 'over serving ' their guests. I have been going to Egg Roll King since I was in middle school next door at Courtland Avenue. It is family run and I think that’s part of what makes it great. You feel really at home here. The main owner is also cheery and goes above and beyond. He will always ensure you receive the best quality. I can’t believe I’ve even seen any negative reviews. Despite the restaurant being smaller and having limited parking because of area, their food is always hot and fresh never greasy. I specifically drive from out of town for this reason. To add, they have really great prices. I highly recommend the Chicken Ball, their fried rice’s and their bubble tea. Cheers to 11 years of service.
A good place to have in the neighborhood. One can experience the extra care a smaller eatery place need to have. Not a bad choice to dine in, and great for take out. Go there once, take a menu at home with you (they'll gladly give you one) then you can call from the confort of your home to place the order. Just tell them what and when you want it, and will be ready for you to pickup. Reasonable variety and price, tasty food, one of the better ones. For example, the hot and sour soup is better than at Mandarin. Cheers
Me and my husband called last night which was January 1st when they were 5min away from closing because we had just gotten back from a trip. They still took our order and delivered for us with great service, you can see they were happy to do so. We always order from them and we always have good service and the food is always fresh with great flavours. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
I guess it might be because they are a Thai restaurant that also sells Chinese, or maybe they like to 'mix it up ' .... I go in for Chinese, and sometimes what I am served up is a bit of a surprise, or I 'm not clear when I order. That being said I have never had a meal I didn 't like. Service is good, and fast, portions are generous
A great restaurant with a large selection of plates and daily specials. We were served by Angie who guided us through their menu and gave us lots of help. We expected a small meal when we ordered the lunch special and we were happy to receive a huge meal for a moderate price. Thanks, we will definitely come again.
Amazing place to eat,love the dessert and friendly staff. The name ' manago king ' doesn 't do it justice. I would recommend the restaurant to all my friends and family. Favourite dessert : fried banana with ice cream Favourite meal: fried rice , fried chicken wings and their in home made spring rolls
Good food at a decent price. 3.5 stars really, but I round up. Only drawback is that you might start to notice the food's a bit same-y if you go there a lot and like to try different things. Still, not much of a drawback if you like it (and I don't know why you wouldn't).
