Looked online at the menu and this place seemed like a jack of all trades. Doner kebabs to korma 's, pizzas to Peshawar naan........I ordered from there as its a stones throw away from my mums. Thought what the hell and ordered. Phoned them and asked how long it would be, told 20 mins. Went to collect food and guy couldn 't see order. Spoke to his pal and then found a note pad with my order. 7 minutes later the food arrives for me. My naan bread was more like a garlic pizza bread which was crispier than a deep fried won ton. My mum said her chips were hard, more hard than a slab of concrete. Overall, very disappointed in the quality.
We ordered a take away from here tonight, the food was nice enough but about an hour after eating my flat mate started being violently sick. We phoned the restaurant to let them know, not so much to complain but more to let them know so they didnt serve it to other people. A very rude man told us that it could not be there food as they had had no other calls and put the phone down.
My partner and I arrived just 15 mins before the shop closed. The staff was very friendly and said they had just bought the place from a previous owner and have been working on this menu. We had two lovely dishes one with mango and chicken and one with lamb in red sauce) both veey tasty ! Same for the rice. The prices are great too. I would highly recommend !
All the dishes we've tried are well spiced and well cooked. I particularly like the lamb dishes; the meat is of good quality, tender with an unctuous range of sauces.Delicious! Good dhal, aloo ghobi and spicy prawn dishes. Just ask for it a spicy as you like! We also like the option of small or large portions.

Having become bored of the bland curries from my usual takeaway, I decided to try Mango Tree and have not regretted it. The food is excellent, the service is good, and the rogan josh is one of the best curries I have ever tasted. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates fine Indian cuisine.
We were searching for a quick meal and stumbled upon this restaurant. We ordered the 16-inch margarita pizza for only £6.95, which was an incredible deal. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly.
Regular customers at this amazing Indian carry out. One of the best in Edinburgh. Great friendly service. Will make it hotter if you wish. Never disappointed with quality. An easy 5 out of 5 from our family.
i live around newington, and there is a lot of chippy options available. I tried this one and it was more than I expected. This restaurant is around francos summerhall level!

Have had many takeaways from here and they've all been lovely last night two out of three of our dishes were so salty you couldn't get any flavour apart from the salt
This takeout spot is operated by locals of South Asian descent and they do a great job.
