I know COVID was a problem for everyone, especially the food industry. But this place went downhill. My wife always grabs me an Asian bagel when she's here because she knows that's my favorite. The one I pulled out this morning was a joke. It was well undercooked. It was 2/3 it is normal size (be generous here) and it had 5 finger size impressions on the bottom. Not sure if that was not baked enough, but it was pathetic enough to make this review. And it's not the first time. I'd have been embarrassed to put that in a customer's pocket. EDIT (5/5/22): I have revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Last few trips were a big improvement. My original comments stand because something happened. But improvements should be recognised.
Usually you go to Ferry Rd to Manhattan, which is consistently good. Stops in the Warrington location and won't make this mistake again. Unclear and slow ordering process. Woman sitting on the table was said to be fifteen minutes after the order from their choice. I ordered a double toasted everything with cream cheese. What they delivered was completely intact, and the taste of the bagel was strange. Never again.
I am a loyal customer of Manhattan bagel for over 15 years and been to many of their locations and this is the only location that does not serve a side of pickle and chips with nova lox bagel. I almost always get a nova lox bagel and at least a pickle on the side would have been nice.
