Manhattanville Coffee

Unfortunately I’ve witnessed several times when the baristas stare down people of color with the assumption that they come in without intent to buy. Several times they’ve done this to people of color and it’s disheartening. If you fall into this category, there is a lovely coffee shop 2 blocks down that won’t do that to you.

Considering this place only has ONE barista, they are doing a fabulous job. Ownership needs to set them up to succeed so they aren’t slammed…felt so bad for them having to ring up customers AND make everything. Nice space, but severely understaffed.

Absolutely lovely spot! A great variety of seating to suit all body types, including 4 comfy couches! The coffee is delicious the pastries I’ve had have been 10/10. So good. Extremely friendly helpful staff, too! Just all around really great!

Got a cold brew coffee this morning, below average cup. Flavor was very flat almost like Starbucks, could be that’s what they are going for. Could be all they’re other stuff is fire, only reporting in the cold brew. Réservez une table maintenant

Amazing coffee and pastries. I also loved the atmosphere! And barista Juli was really sweet Highly recommend this place!

We purchased 2 Coffees one hot one ice excellent coffee, too much milk

the cold brew looks like iced tea it’s watered down and gross
