A really excellent green Chile Cheeseburger and green Chili cheese fries! I've been a fan of her competitor Owl Cafe for many years, and Buckhorn never tried. My thought was Owl Cafe was the original and Buckhorn was the Johnny came lately. Both have been there for years, but the Owl was first of all what I understand. After hearing so much hype about Buckhorn, I felt obliged to give it at least one attempt. I'm so glad I did. The Owl is not as good as it used to be in recent years. A so amazing taste experience for a hamburger. Delicious juicy burgers and green chili, tastefully with heat that is not overpowered. Small town friendly staff. Well worth the trip to Southbound.
