Late nights craving was not 100% satisfied but decent. I ordered an asada burrito with everything and was so disappointed !! The rice in the burrito was solid rock hard! It was like chewing into uncooked rice! Food quality is not fresh! However, the tacos Dorado chx was delicious! The atmosphere/environment is not very pleasant. So many homelessness and disturbing their customers ! I had a homeless man demand me order him food from the truck! If he had asked politely, I would've gotten him a meal. But no, the demand was really aggressive! This place would get more stars if the food was fresh and surrounding areas wasn't so rough. But expected I can't blame the food truck owner.
I decided to try this place out because I'm a taco lover—who could ever say no to tacos? I ordered a burrito with just meat. However, I noticed the staff automatically charged me for extra meat without asking. When I mentioned that I didn't want the extra meat, the server seemed upset and pointed out that my burrito would be small. I reassured her that I was fine with it. It felt like she was exchanging frustrated words with the cook because she hadn't charged for the extra meat. Personally, I didn't want extra meat anyway, as it would have cost $14, but without it, my burrito ended up being $9. The burrito itself was okay, but it tasted like they used old meat.
It was my first time trying tacos, and since I just moved to the U.S., I decided to give them a shot. I can't even describe how I felt after finishing the whole meat burrito—just delicious! My wife typically doesn't eat much, but she was so into her shrimp tacos that she didn't even realize she finished them. Whenever I have a great meal, I like to share my thoughts, and this time was no exception. I really enjoyed my experience, and I can't wait to try all the other tacos here!
I ordered from the food truck located by target in signal hill. I ordered a burrito and quesadilla de lengua. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the quesadilla. The burrito contained old rice that had a tough texture. The quesadilla however was delicious!! If the burrito was the same as the quesadilla..I would have gave them 5 stars EASILY.
