Having noticed a sign to La Caleta we decided to seek out some local cuisine. This bar is right on the beach. Our first visit was just for a beer and some tapas. Impressed by what we saw we decided to visit again and try the lunchtime menu. We enjoyed the house salad, and paella. Cannot fault this establishment if you want to experience typical Spanish hospitality and food. Lovely staff with smiling faces. Small car park nearby but very busy on hot days. Another is quite nearby but a little walk. Would visit this place every day if it were back in England.
Modest but good local food, in a place mostly frequented by locals. Reasonable prices, in a no frills type of building, but just a few metres from the seaside. Great to go with kids, for you can have a meal, or some tapas and a few drinks while you watch over them as they play by the seaside.
El pescado esta bien, la fritura mejorable. La Paella es un arroz con pimientos picado y cosas. Un arroz caldoso duro con cosas hecho en otra parte y vertido en una paellita. Cualquier cosa es mejor.
Camareros muy atentos y muy simpaticos. Pusieron tapa generosa y todo en su punto, calidad medio-alta, pero merece la pena

Nice lunch and nice service but small lenguado for the price. Main bonus is the car park. Very close to the sea front.
Me recomendó el sitio una persona local de aquí y mas acertada imposible, lo recomiendo.
Excelente, habíamos encargado un arroz con mariscos y estaba en su punto. Buenísimo.
