Maphin's Coffeehouse

After reading reviews and talking to different people, I was anxious to try this place. First impression was good. It was open, airy, clean, and had a welcoming feel. Sadly, it went downhill after that. It must have been 'new staff day'. Very limited interaction, inability to answer questions, and no knowledge of the product offered. I was told their espresso machine was down and I could only have regular tea or coffee (customer after us was told the same thing yet a third customer - served by different staff - was able to get a latte.). No sparkling water. I ordered a small coffee for $2. They weren't kidding. It was small! We also ordered bagel and lox, a juice, and a bowl of Italian Weddi...

Sehr leckere Kaffee-Spezialitäten sowie muffins, angeboten zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis in einem echt urigen Ambiente.Die Inneneinrichtung ist bunt zusammengewürfelt, eine Wand wurde komplett mit verkleinerten Zeitungsseiten tapeziert, aber genau das macht das Coffeehouse so gemütlich und einzigartig.Die Inhaber sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Leute, so macht es Spaß, hier einen Kaffee zu benießen.Wir werden wieder hier einkehren, wenn wir mal wieder in Brockville zu Besuch sein werden.

Kitschy, nostalgic decor and a great view of main street Brockville. Excellent people watching spot. The owners are wonderful people. The coffee is definitely the best cup of coffee I've ever had in Brockville and will keep me coming back. Great place to gather with friends or chat with the owners, maybe before or after attending a play or event across the street at the arts centre. Plenty of free parking in the back.

Machines is a new coffee house that is conveniently located across from the Art's Centre. They serve a carrot cake that is by far the best I have ever had. They have homemade quiche, soup and other wonderful lunches that vary from day to day. They also have wonderful baked goods and brew a wonderful cup of coffee.

The best coffee ever made by Kim her husband and her brother no aftertaste it is the best I've ever had in a long timeAnd it's located on route between Montreal Ottawa and Toronto right in the center of Brockville as a matter fact I think it's the oldest building in Brockville

Maphin's is a good place in downtown Brockville to enjoy coffee. The lattes are good (double or triple shots). There are delicious snacks and small dishes for lunch. The cafe is spacious and has ample parking. A good place on a sunny winter afternoon to read with coffee.

I stopped in for a quick caffeine pick-me-up and this little place did not disappointed. Everyone was attentive, kind, made an effort to be friendly. The latte was wonderful, and my scone was tasty! Would certainly come back. The decor is really funky too!

What a great addition to Brockville! This cafe housed in a historic stone building has a charming and bright atmosphere. Kim and Doug are fantastic hosts and provide a great selection of coffees and delicious desserts. I highly recommend this cafe! Ida Duc

Brockville's Oldest Stone Building Nehemia Seaman built this beautiful stone home in 1812 Now a great coffee shop across from Brockville Arts Centre We had pear and parsnip soup and fresh baguette. It was lovely.

As soon as you walk in you are drawn in. Had a great lunch and coffee with a friend. Good spot to catch up. The owners and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.
