The food is as good as it looks! Let me just say the owner Erin who is a true stand up and very generous was kind enough to speak to me and my girlfriend about great places to go and eat in Chicago. Very kind and welcoming and his restaurant is truly awonderful place to dine in and get a taste of New Orleans. Also our waiter Jeanna was so phenomenal at explaining the dishes andhelped us greatly when we decided to choose. We go the fried chicken meal which was just so rich with flavors and well prepareddefinitely get that! Also the Jambalaya is a true taste that you?ll get of New Orleans once you get so many different deliciousvarieties in one bowl! The crab fitters was very good and had a bl...

This charming local restaurant strives for an upscale vibe and features a diverse menu with a focus on Louisiana, Cajun, and Creole cuisine. With cocktails on tap, a complete bar, and weekly specials, Maple Tree Inn is a reliable choice for any occasion. The food is consistently good, although there can occasionally be some inconsistencies. While no dish is outright bad, it’s noticeable when something doesn't measure up to the high standards you've come to expect, resulting in a dish that may taste just okay or lack depth. Overall, I absolutely love the hurricane cocktail, cast iron cornbread, fried oysters, and smoked bone-in pork chop.

The last time I visited Maple Tree Inn, it was in Blue Island. I stopped by today and was truly impressed by everything. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were exceptional, and the food was outstanding. This is definitely a restaurant I plan to return to and support. It's a popular spot, so be sure to make a reservation. From what I observed, parking isn’t a problem, and the location is in a nice, quiet area. I highly recommend it! Next time, I'll have to try something from the dessert menu. Some items on the menu may seem a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it.

Excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and fantastic menu flavors! There seems to be something for everyone, from various dishes to custom cocktails. The burnt ends were delicious, and the cabbage that accompanied them was a standout. Be prepared for the pork chop—it’s four times thicker than you might expect! The BBQ shrimp made for a delightful appetizer, and I could enjoy that cornbread day and night (though they provided refrigerated butter, which made spreading it quite tricky). We visited this restaurant for an early birthday dinner, having had it on our list for quite some time, especially since we love New Orleans. Our waiter was very attentive; he not only answered our questions but also offered excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding, and the music transported us back to the brass bands marching through the streets.

We took my lady there for a surprise birthday dinner. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. While it is a somewhat high-end restaurant with incredible food, the prices were very reasonable, I've paid more for less. We've been to Mapke Tree before and will continue to dine there.

They was very accommodating to a large party. Everything was good. The etouffee, the cornbread, the fried catfish, very tasty season just right. Not too spicy not too bland
