I visited this restaurant for the first time and found that the decor made it look nicer than the overall experience. The prices seemed quite unreasonable; for instance, a side of two eggs costs $8, while a slightly better meal is only $11. There were no combo options or deals available. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, yet our server had difficulty attending to us. Other customers who came in after us were served water and given menus right away, while we were left wondering where our server had gone. We weren't checked on even once until we received the bill. I understand that staffing issues can happen, but with such a sparse crowd, it was a bit disappointing.
The menu offers a very limited selection, and the prices are quite high. My meal, which included a cup of coffee, two eggs, hash browns, sausage, and a biscuit with gravy (which came with a $1.00 charge), cost nearly $15. While the main dish was hot, the biscuit was hard and the gravy was cold. Additionally, the waitress vanished halfway through our meal and never returned, so I had to go to the register to ask for my bill. It seems they prioritize promoting alcohol and lottery scratch-off tickets over the food itself, with more emphasis on their liquor and coffee bar than on the actual menu items.
The food was mediocre. I ordered the biscuits and gravy skillet, but it arrived cold. The only somewhat warm part of the meal was the eggs, and even that was questionable. The eggs were just average, and the biscuits lacked flavor — there was hardly any taste to the gravy either. Instead of our waitress, a busboy ended up serving us. He was very nice, but the rest of the staff didn't seem very attentive to our table. They appeared to be quite understaffed. Overall, my experience was disappointing; while the building has a modern appearance, I left feeling unsatisfied. I don't plan to return.
I ordered two breakfasts for delivery, but my potato pancakes tasted heavy and stale, while my husband's pancakes just didn't seem right. When I called to express my concerns, Cathy asked me to come in and bring the pancakes so she could remake them. However, I chose delivery for a reason. While I appreciate the service, this experience has made me hesitant to order delivery again. It seems like they may have new cooks, and if the food wasn’t a problem, then Cathy's attitude definitely added to my disappointing experience. Réservez une table maintenant
Great local breakfast spot! Not stellar decor or anything, but lots of food choices that are delicious. The place is clean. The staff is always so nice, even though they are short staffed right now. Many updates have been made recently. Not sure what they eventually want to be...it's like a breakfast/bakery/cafe/slots that also advocates for dogs and sells dog and human treats. They do have a liquor license for mimosas, etc.
The food was absolutely delicious! We arrived at 9 o'clock on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to wait. We ordered a variety of dishes, and the cinnamon French toast was a standout, as was the Denver omelet (with extra cheese). Each dish comes with generous portions, so you definitely won't leave hungry!
it's a nice breakfast dinner. my dad liked the steak he got because it wasn't chewing. the avocado toast was okay. it was pretty easy. I wouldn't get it again. my mother has the waffles, but she didn't expect it to be on it. the workers there were really nice and would often check us out if we needed something.
Was looking for a quick bite to eat at lunch. Glad I picked this Pancake House. I was seated, order taken and the meal brought out in what seemed like a few minutes without feeling rushed. Gotta admit, the eggs, pancakes and bacon were really good too.Definitely will go back and highly recommend to others. Réservez une table maintenant
Always like coming here for breakfast. It's close and usually busy enough that they keep a business going but not too busy where you wait for hours to get in. The food is decent, and you get a lot for the price. No complaints. There is a newer bistro area, which is nice.
