Birthday lunch for my wife after a friend with good taste recommended Mapo for its originality and « rapport qualité /prix ». Lovely welcome from a highly engaging, charming waitress set us immediately at ease and ensured we had apéritifs (Prosecco and rosé and water while we chose our menus. We forewent the menu du jour, which actually looked delicious as it was served to adjacent tables but we plumped for a tapas style menu, starting with Tacos ouverts with truffle, Parmesan, mozzarella and roquette, followed by a scrumptious plate of wild mushrooms in spinach with a soft poached egg all in a delicious sauce, and capped it off with gambas poêlés with a spicy kimchi. Friends had recommended Mapo and we were pleasantly surprised: That evening a week ago was gentle and we ate outside on a beautiful terrace, and all my expectations were fully met: The ease speed of reservation, the friendly welcome, the table’s placement on the terrace, the friendly and knowledgeable service, the menu with interesting choices, the creativity and presentation of the food, its freshness and surprising tastes, its professional preparation to order, the choice of beverages at fait prices, the cleanliness of the kitchen and restrooms. Above evaluation has been made against a total of 11 weighted criteria.
Wir wurden ins mapo eingeladen und haben einen gemütlichen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und überraschend. Auch das Personal bekommt Bestnoten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Auch das Dessert war lecker, nur dürfte da die Präsentation noch etwas künstlerischer sein. Man isst ja auch mit den Augen!
With thanks for a lovely evening with warm service, a fabulous menu, great wines and a really pretty and convivial setting! Utterly recommend the gambas and the chocolate dessert. That said, the salmon was gorgeous too. Oh and so was the tuna. And the agrumes dessert. I could go on. Happily we will go back!

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant, das Speisen mit einem Schuss asiatischer Aromen serviert. Gemütliche Umgebung. Freundliches Personal und aufmerksam. Das Essen war im Allgemeinen sehr lecker. Die Portionsgröße war jedoch gegenüber dem gezahlten Preis nicht großzügig.
Very pleasant setting, chic, simple and warm and the cuisine is just perfect, I recommend the desserts, the passion fruit one is a treat and the chocolate one is so innovative with the popcorn, superb evening, a big thank you to everyone team !
Un moment parfait ! Accueil au top et service aux petits soins, des plats originaux et plein de saveurs et tout ça sur une agréable terrasse� on sera de retour très vite pour tester d’autres plats !
