We ate here as 3 adults for dinner. We reserved a table 2 days before and there was no issue finding space, although some times were not available. We were seated quickly at a nice table near the back. It was close to the washroom but slightly more spacious than some of the others.The menu is simple and quickly explained by the server. I don't remember if he told us his name but he was really quite good. Brief, but not curt, polite but not excessively so. My husband and I tried this restaurant for dinner on Friday, May 5th, with another couple. There were a number of delicious sounding dishes, so it was hard to select just a few to share. Our waiter recommended the Yam, Pork Belly & Wild Mushroom and suggested that we order 6-8 dishes for 4 people.We thought we'd start with 5 and see how we felt before ordering more. We also selected a bottle of wine - Tempranillo from Spain, a very nice full-bodied red.The dishes came out one by one, rather than all at once. I liked this as it gave us time to digest between dishes and enjoy each one individually.Yams ($15) - This dish was fantastic! Sweet and savory at the same time and a significant portion...

An amazing meal shared with friends last evening.We ordered the pork belly steamed buns to start, the yams, brussel sprouts, duck, truffle and mushroom egg noodles, duck and one of the evening's specials, a chicken dish. It is difficult to pick a favourite as all brought exclamations of delight. Ample food for the four of us and flavours for a group much larger. If I had to choose a repeat if would be the buns...or maybe the sprouts...or perhaps the mushroomed noodles...I don't know but it will be difficult to decide as cornucopia of untried goodies on the menu.The service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere good for a group. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if...

We have eaten here twice now. Small open kitchen bistro with tasty Asian inspired small dishes best for sharing. There us a good selection of meat fish and vegetable dishes to satisfy all tastes.Everything we had was well done with great presentation. Service was a little spotty. Prices are fair for the quality. My only complaint is the wine list which is uninspired and a bit pricey but perhaps beer is a better choice. We will return next time in the city. The food at Maque was excellent. Two people shared four dishes and that was a good amount of food. We had the special of the day, a take on Korean BBQ chicken. The best dish was the lamb. I would order that again. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was pleasant. The only drawback was no hot beverages. Get a Keurig and charge me $5 for a coffee to round out a great meal.

Overall a very good experience. Nice decor, excellent service. Daikon radish dish 9/10, beef tar tar was the best I've had. Duck confit also a winner. The pan fried vegetables XO were mediocre. The lo mein shrimp nope, skip it. They offer dessert but no coffee or tea is available. I'm assuming they want the table, so I skipped dessert. The tar tar is worth the trip

Service was exceptional and the food divine. Beef tartare and the kale salad are must have dishes. We were allowed to finish one plate before the next was brought out and it made for such a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of time for conversation. Highly recommended!

We ate at this restaurant on May 30th 2017. The food was amazing, the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. My husband and I are very critical when dining out. We could not think of anything negative to say about our experience. This is now our favourite place to dine. Réservez une table maintenant

A friend and I were there for dinner a week ago. We enjoyed the dinner and selection of wines. We did find the dishes tended to be salty and left both of us feeling somewhat uncomfortable later that evening.

Been several times now and this place has really great Asian fusion - very creative. I wish their drink menu was a little more extensive, but other than that a great joint.
