Marble Hall Chippy

One local customer ordering in front of me, served quite quickly. When it came to my turn with four young girls and a male behind the counter ignored me and had to ask if anyone was serving. I ordered cod bites and chips and was told it would be about 10 minutes. Others came in who from the way they were talking to the fryers were locals. All were asked for their orders and were served promptly. Some had to wait a short time for what they had ordered to be cooked. Food wise marble hall chippy still has the best chips in my opinion, but it's the service that puts me off returning. Now don't get me wrong, the staff have always been apologetic and friendly but it's gotten so disorganised in this past year. We've ordered from them 4 times in the past year and every time something went wrong. The first time, we ordered food online for a certain time and the food didn't turn up, we phoned them for them to say it had just left and was on it's way, but it still didn't turn up, phoned again just before closing time and then eventually it turned up, it definitely wasn't a case of not being able to find the place, as by this time we had waited 4 hours and the fo...

Stood waiting in an empty shop for 15 minutes, whilst being ignored by the staff, who were more concerned with chatting and sorting out their own drinks. Wasn't until I enquired whether I had to phone through an order that they realised I was waiting. Portion size was huge, but chips were very saturated with oil and fish batter was pale and chewy. Will not be visiting again. I would rather make a trek to Broad Haven or Saundersfoot. Gone downhill massively thanks to the very young staff. I know kids are cheap to employ, but paying someone older and with a bit of gumption would do wonders to the general attitude.

They use to be very good very friendly portion sizes great untill they hired young staff who really dont care about the customer i have been given wrong order many times and once was given a chip butty with less then a scoop of chips in it very unfortunate the new staff are bringing this place down

Great food did us a big order with no fuss at short notice for 20 hungry people working a shutdown near them
