First off.. my wife and I moved to hammonton from o.c. this place was one of the first places we chose to eat. I gotta say everytime we ordered my wife gets what she wants but my food for some reason is always messed up. It's like covid has really messed up people's heads in the restaurant business. They have entirely too many people making food and standing around not to mention the girls who take the orders on their phones constantly while waiting to pick up food. I order a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak wrap and get a sub with no cheese, withered lettuce on it, and barely any buffalo sauce. I order same everytime but I get a wrap with again...withered lettuce which I never heard of any Itali...
Absolutely terrible. I ordered online, showed up 45mins after placing the order and it wasn't ready. I could tell it wasn't even started. It was Chicken Marsala and Spaghetti and Meatballs. So after waiting an additional 30 mins I got it home. My Chicken Marsala was filled with probably 2 cups of watery marsala sauce if I could even call it that. As you can see the pasta wasn't even all the cooked and clumpy in the dish. The chicken was mushy and flavorless. You can tell it was absolutely rushed. It was terrible. This is unfortunately not the first time. But the first time it completely ruined our meal. If I could get a refund I would.
I can appreciate the ambiance and the staffs accents but the food was mediocre and the service was even worse. There was only one other table other than us and we waited a veeery long time for our check. I ended up having to go to the counter to ask where our waitress was. It?s a cute establishment but I wasn?t wowed by the food. I?ll definitely visit again to try something else on the menu and maybe that will change my rating, hopefully.
