Really interesting restaurant format, which I experienced for dinner on a Saturday night. Sit down in the private and intimate cafe setting, off the street in the heart of Surfers, and place yourself in the capable hands of Marco - a passionate chef with a flair for food and a focus on customer service. No set menu, just a set price $25 per head. He brought out a salad and three/four choices of freshly cooked pizza/pasta. Lovely culinary exploration. Wonderful food, and a setting which allows for great conversation.
We searched up the best places to eat on Cavill Ave on Tripadvisor and Marco's came up with great reviews. As we were dining late we missed the dinner rush and were treated to a private evening, being thoroughly looked after by Marco. Each course was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend a night at Marco's. Just wear loose clothing because the food is so delicious it's hard to resist!! We will be back for sure - with friends!!
I have visited Marco's restaurant several times since it opened, and I have always received a warm greeting from Marco. The food has always been delicious and it's a great place to have lunch for only $10. Marco recently opened a new location down the street that serves coffee and takeaway options. It has quickly become a popular spot with many loyal customers.
Decided to try out this restaurant for dinner with some friends and I'm glad we went! Was very quiet so didn't know what to expect, but very friendly and efficient service. A great variety of food was served up for us to share (pizzas, pastas and salads) at very reasonable value ($20 per head). Definitely would recommend and return!

I had an amazing experience celebrating my 30th birthday dinner here. The owner gave exceptional service and the food was delicious! It's a great place to go with a group to try a variety of dishes. Bring your own drinks and the prices are great too!
A jewel of a place. When I eat food this good I leave excited. Marco is a great host as well. Be warned it will ruin you standards. It was a perfect wedding anniversary delight.
Delicious food at Marco's (near the Surfers RSL) - mainly Italian including pizza, steak, salads - great coffee too. Marco is lovely.

This was my third time visiting the Gold Coast and this meal was definitely the best I've had. I highly recommend it.
