Marge's Lakeside Inn

This place is truly one of the best hidden gems in the Rochester area. It’s a small bar with an incredible beach atmosphere, allowing you to relax with your feet in the sand. Given the number of guests, it would have been nice to have cocktail waitresses on the beach. Here are some helpful details: there’s a $5 cover charge, smoking is not permitted on the property, and they feature live music (be sure to check the schedule).

Marges is the biggest hidden gem on Lake Ontario, offering a fantastic atmosphere year-round. In winter, it’s dark and cozy, perfect for a snowy day, while in summer, the beach invites you to relax and enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. #margeslakesideinn #buzzybooth

The building may be quite small, but the beach area is spacious and very comfortable. Our group of 15 was able to sit together in a large circle, allowing us to talk and catch up with one another, and most importantly, we could all hear each other easily.

I visited this charming little spot for a drink last night, and I wish I had discovered it sooner! I'm looking forward to the warmer weather so I can truly enjoy the outdoor spaces. Until then, I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in Rochester. Réservez une table maintenant

I had an amazing time tonight! The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We sat indoors and enjoyed the live band, who were fantastic! They had great voices and really set the mood. It was a wonderful experience!

The ambiance and entertainment are exceptional. I can’t speak to the food since I didn’t eat here, but I loved enjoying a cocktail with the sand beneath my feet while watching the sunset—it was perfect.

So funny! A small taste of Key West without the cost of a flight! It's more than 60 years here. There is no food or accommodation available. No restaurant or hotel. Easy beach fun fun fun fun fun fun!
