Beware! Their hours on the website say they close at 10 on Fridays and Saturdays but it's not true. They won't even let you in for a drink at the bar at 9 on Saturday. Very uncool. Also, super overpriced. Oh, and if you arrive five minutes early for your 5pm reservation, they also won't let you in, even in scorching heat. Again, not at all what I would call hospitable.We have been coming here for five years from out of town and are not offended by quirkiness but it seems like things are devolving a little lately. We attended Margot for dinner on 5/17/24. The food was amazing and our waiter was super accommodating. We had the focaccia along with the marinated olives as an app, everything was fresh tasting and delicious. I ordered the grilled quail which was so tender, and the mushrooms and polenta it was served with was to die for. My husband got the steak (I forgot what cut it was) but it was so perfectly cooked. We got the chocolate espresso torte to split for dessert, and my god that was delicious. Overall great food and great experience
Cozy atmosphere and superb service makes dining here exceptional. The daily menu alterations leave diners anticipating the culinary delights offered for the day. Good food, good service and good friends is an awesome trifecta for any occasion.
This is in a nice little part of East Nashville. The food was excellent, and the server was so attentive. Having been to France often, I can say this food is legit. Everything we had was delicious. You should stop in here and try it. Enjoy!

Executive Chef, Hadley Long is amazingly talented. This was easily in the top 5 meals of my entire life. We got several mains, salads and the potato chips to start. Sharing a picture of our dessert. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
Still after all the new, higher end Nashville restaurants that have popped up over the years some of which are quite good, Margot remains at the top of our list. Delightful food, staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The second time we have eaten here and we had a great meal. We had the cookies for desert, and they might have been some of the best cookies I have ever had at a restaurant.

Always a different menu and it's not cheap but it's worth it to try at least once. We go there every time we are in Nashville.
