I'm not sure how this restaurant has a five-star rating. I visited last week and was not impressed. First, our waitress seemed to be putting on an act when it came to friendliness; it felt forced, and she was slow to attend to us. We ended up having to ask the busboys for things instead. Second, the food was overpriced—I ordered the chicken scarp, and the presentation was messy, with the chicken tasting mediocre at best. Lastly, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, almost as if the air conditioning wasn't working at all. I don't think I'll be returning.
We went for our daughter’s graduation lunch and the reservations changed a few times. I know the restaurant is usually busy and thought we were going to walk into a snobby atmosphere, especially due to our multiple changes… I was so wrong!They were exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful! They didn’t make my teens feel like little kids and the service was impeccable. The food came out quickly and for the 7 people, including VERY picky teen girls, everyone was happy! We will all be going back!
I wouldn't suggest dining here on a night when it's 90 degrees. The restaurant was extremely hot, to the point where we couldn’t fully enjoy our meal. We were eager to pay the bill and leave. They attributed the heat to the weather, but it seemed like the air conditioning was broken. The food was decent, but it lacked seasoning, and our server was not very welcoming. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
Where do I begin... The chef/owner Giovanni was so hospitable and accommodating with my gluten sensitivity, it was amazing. On top of that, my husband and I sat at the bar where we hung out with Eric, the bartender, who was awesome. Between the service, the food, the drinks, the conversation... We felt like we were in Nonna's kitchen. We will definitely be back. Can't wait until the next visit! Réservez une table maintenant
The food here is incredible, and the service is excellent. It's my go-to spot for both lunch and dinner whenever I'm in New Rochelle. I highly recommend the Shishito peppers and the rib remover. The baked clams are among the best I've ever tasted; I devoured them so quickly that I forgot to take a photo!
I went out for dinner with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Although our waiter took a bit longer to check in on us at times, it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment. I highly recommend this place! Food: 5/5
Five stars for excellent service and delicious food. I ordered the meatballs for beginners and it was above average. It was also very filled. I ordered the veal and it was perfect. The steak was juicy and delicious. The rice was also a miracle. Shout after Erick, who was a very gracious host.
Phenomenal service and food from appetizers to drinks and a superb dinner. This restaurant never disappoints. We have become regulars because each time we are treated so well and the food is so delicious. Can't wait to return again soon! Compliments to the owner, chef and all staff! I absolutely loved this wonderful restaurant! I visited late at night for a light dinner, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Everything I tried was delicious. The ambiance creates a truly romantic atmosphere, and the decor is spot on. I highly recommend this place!
