Maria Xica Brunch Tapas

Throughout the year that I have lived in Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal, (since moving from the USA last year), I’ve had the pleasure of dining at the Maria XiCa restaurant numerous times, (at least once a week). It provided my wife and I our delightful introduction to Portuguese cuisine. We have become a couple of frequent customers there because the food there is always excellent and reasonably priced for us, (expat retirees). Maria is the restaurant’s friendly owner and operator, and she cooks all of the delicious meals and makes all of the deserts herself. Had an excellent lunch here. All our food, which was so well presented, was really fresh and we had amazing homemade deserts. Maria and staff were so lovely and welcoming and the decor is really special. You can tell Maria has put her heart into this place. We will certainly be back. Thank you

We throughly enjoyed the entire experience here. The service was great and we had the best mussels we've ever tasted. The A perfect sangria was delightful. Can't wait to return. Perfeito! Réservez une table maintenant
