The Marie Callendar's closest to me closed a while ago, so it has been a while since I've dined in one. It wasn't until our divisional Kiwanis service organization started meeting monthly at this location that I knew there was still a spot sorta close by. Since our 25+ group met monthly here for dinner, we have a set menu to order off of for ease of both the restaurant and our members. I've tried the chicken pot pie, classic french dip sandwich, and the turkey croissant club. Marie 's is an old favorite, very consistent in their menu offerings. For many years, I have been to several locations and have NEVER been disappointed. First of all, you gotta LOVE the pies! So many to many to choose from. I don 't have a single favorite, but the Banana Cream, French Apple, Strawberry and Pumpkin are at the top of my list. Another outstanding favorite is a bowl of chili beans with a side of cornbread with honey butter. It 's a hearty and filling meal. The irony is, I could have asked for a table and eaten the entire pie if I wanted to. The last time he approached me, I suggested that maybe I should just wait outside, and he didn't even respond. I reiterated that I was a paying customer, and he just turned and walked away, which I took as a sign that I should leave. It was an uncomfortable situation.
I wasn't there for hours; not even an hour. I bought the pie at 10 AM, and my ride arrived at 10:20. Who was I disturbing? No one! I was simply waiting, yet I felt indirectly pushed out. To top it all off, the pie I got to my destination was burned—much worse than what the picture shows. What a missed opportunity for kindness at Marie Callen...
So we were in the area and thought we would stop for lunch here since it's been a long time since we have been to MC. Our service was wonderful, I wish I could remember the servers name but she was great. Sadly our food was horrible and nothing like we remembered MC food to me. The pot pie was literally cold! The dessert pie (I ordered peach) was no cooked and had the consistency of glue. We were thinking to take a pie home but decided not to after this experience. Sorry for this negative review but kind of felt like this establishment could do better.

Very nice and well maintained restaurant. I was very impressed with both the exterior and interior of this restaurant as it looks and feels modern. The employees I interacted with while my family and I had dinner were extremely friendly, very professional and went out of their way to make my dining experience a positive one. The food we ordered was cooked to perfection! Everything was hot, tasty and fresh. This was a positive dining experience for my family and I.
The food was great but the service no good . Ask for some napkins he brings 1 wrinkle one it was funny . We didn’t bother using the napkin . He could have bought some napkins in a small plate . That will be more appropriate. Customer service is not a hard work. Always make sure how you deliver the food and drinks correctly when serving a customer.
Love their pot pies!! All meals delicious, the corn bread is great, our server was the sweetest and patient with friends and me. One bad thing, was possibly a bad odor from restrooms! A good freshener would have been the best thing for that!
The atmosphere was disappointing, and the food was inedible. I only went for a gathering. However, I must say the waitress was excellent.

Just stopped by to pick up German Chocolate pie. Ad usual, it was great but sadly a little overpriced.
The happy hour deals are fantastic, and the pie is absolutely perfect!
