We have been going to Marina Crest for many years and always find the food to be very good and consistent. We ordered spring rolls and curry puffs for entree and lemon chicken, sizzling pepper beef and satay chicken and rice for mains. The entrees came out quite quickly, as usual. The restaurant was not too busy so mains arrived soon after. The restaurant always busy early in the night so going a bit later meant no delays.The restaurant is BYO wine but they are also licenced. Service was friendly and efficient. You can choose to sit on the balcony (pleasant in summer rather than winter) or inside. You should book for Friday and Saturday nights. They also do a huge takeaway trade.
We're never disappointed with meals or service at this great restaurant. Offering a large menu featuring dishes from a number of Asian country's, there's something for every taste and budget.Air conditioned seating inside with open air veranda dining also available, the venue is suitable for couples and groups without feeling squashed.Also offering the full menu as take away and with convenient parking off street. There are stairs to climb so may not suit visitors with mobility issues.
We often get take-away from Marina Crest and I have travelled near and far to find something equally as good if not better. I have never found anything. On this occasion we ate in the restaurant and it was not shy of perfection. Would recommend to everyone. Note. Eating in is slightly more pricey than takeaway and the pictures on their menu do not do them justice.
Went here for dinnet on a Saturday night. Hadn't had Chinese for dinner for quite a long time because I always find it tastes the same. This was different. The food was amazing, tasty and served by happy staff. The chili and basil pork and the shredded peking pork were excellent. With lovely sea breezes it was a perfect night.
