This restaurant was recommended to us by a local bus driver as the best Indian restaurant in Cairns. He was not wrong. As we love our Indian cuisine this Restaurant did not disappoint, so now we are recommending this restaurant to other people we know or meet. The food here was, we could not fault it, the Staff we attentive without being in your face and the owner TJ we could have stayed all night talking with him. We were so impressed in our short stay in Cairns we had to return we were so impressed. On our next trip to this area, we will be making it a priority to visit this restaurant for some more magical tasting food. To finish all I can say is if you are considering eating at this rest...
Owner does not want to serve. Had to order three times as we couldn’t decide on things and owner was ready to advise us that we should order at once. Quality is average, previous take away curry order and dining order looked the same except change of meat. Tandoori was not good at all. But we can excuse cooking but not the owner, his attitude towards a customer is pathetic. The one star is for waiters who were humble.
There is a vegan menu with a variety of starters, curries and breads. You just need to specify no butter for the rotis and paratha (naan is not vegan). Super yummy food, and the curries were deceptively filling so had to take food home for takeaway. The place is on the pricier end but we still enjoyed the food.
The service and food at this restaurant were outstanding. We went with friends on two separate occasions, and both times we were impressed by the high quality of the dishes and the exceptional service. The ambience of the restaurant is both authentic and beautiful, making it a delightful place to visit.

The food Below average. In fact not good. Ordered dal mutton n paneer . Other than dsl both the main dishes were spicy n acidic. The butter naan bread was dry. No butter on them. Service was slow. Way above overpriced . Not worth going at all. Food very low quality .
This restaurant can best be described as using curry from a jar. All four dishes tasted very similar and were bland and awful. The prawn curry only had four prawns in it. Prices are high and the atmosphere is not Indian.
Having traveled across the country I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant in Australia. The Madras…the Korma..and then the vindaloo oh so good, was here for two days and we did dinner here for both
