for a family dinner we sat marios, the service was fast, but we had problems with eating. the garlic bread pizza for our appetizers were not cooked, raw! we told the staff, they took them away and put them in the many. they did not come back boiled. we all had pasta except 1 of us, the pizza that was uncooked again. we told the employees who took him away. when we got the bill, we were charged for the pizza that was taken away. we said we sent him back because he wasn't even cooked properly. the rude waiter said when the pizza started, he could not reimburse them. we asked how we should know whether it was cooked or not without trying? he replied that it is the restaurant policy not to reimb...
came into an ice cold restaurant. the waiting personal was terrible. we had drinks while we waited for a 4th party. the cutlery was not clean. it actually has food debris on it. this was taken away on request and then not replaced either....always shimmer in the cold.our friend came and we ordered eating . it took at least 45 minutes..then mario came out. Greetings is like ladies and BOY. to my son in law .and told my friend that was eating late because she had kept her waiting. we all ordered when she arrived..just shameful disregard to make a gast responsible for the late arrival of the food. the service was abysmal .i got the leak and it was on the table left .waitress immediately went aw...
I’ll start with the positives. The service was good, friendly and efficient. However it’s hard to see how the reviews are so good for here. The food was mediocre. The beef on the meat skewer was over cooked and both skewers were coated in gravy...which was unexpected. The chips were good. The lasagna didn’t have that much meat and was loads of pasta with an overly sweet Ragu sauce. The wine had cork floating in it. The decor is tired and dated (think late 1980s) the glassware has been washed so often it’s scratched and opaque. The cutlery didn’t match and was what you get in a school canteen. Due to Covid restrictions and no restaurants opened we ordered a take away from Mario's for my husbands birthday. We've previously had a couple of shocking Indian takeaways during lockdown and had decided no more takeaways. As my husbands birthday approached I was told Mario's...takeaway was great. We ordered chilli garlic bread, garlic mushrooms and lasagne...it was all superb, will definitely be back. As we had a short wait for our order, we were given a complimentary bottle of red wine too. 5 star service in lockdown! Réservez une table maintenant
Went with a few friends and admittedly was a bit loud and maybe our language wasn’t the best but we have now all been slated all over Facebook saying we was abusive and intimidating towards staff when we wasn’t at all, we was never asked...to leave which I think we would have been if we was as bad as they’re making us out to be, just think it’s very unprofessional to slate us all over Facebook! Do not recommend at all, boring people who need to learn to have a laugh!
First time in this restaurant Beautiful food and such pleasant staff ,Kyle and millie were amazing,very helpful and friendly, even the chef came out to say hello ,would definitely go again and recommend this place,only one draw back ,from the outside there is nothing that...attracts me to go in,I went in on my sons recommendation, I think baskets of flowers ,good lighting outside would bring in customers ,just an observation fro.m me,beautiful inside lovely decor
Really nice traditional italian food with lovely staff! Staff are very welcoming and great at recommending food! We visited at the start of October as a family of 5 and all our food came out fresh and quick. We could not believe the portion sizes,...very generous feeders! Which we love because we are a foodie family! Top food I would recommend is the rustica garlic bread, lasagne, ribs and also the kids loved the Nutella pizza!
