This place has gone super downhill since I remember it. I have lived in Clifton my whole life and have frequented this establishment many many times. The last time I went I went with a buddy. We sat at the bar to have a few drinks and some dinner. The service was so awful that we ended up having one drink. No one ever came over to check on us we had an order of mussels to start expecting to order dinners after but after 30 minutes of waiting to be checked on we just decided there is no way we could stay here. The staff at this restaurant left much to be desired. The hostess appeared more interested in her phone calls than seating us, and she greeted us with an annoyed expression. Fortunately, a waitress seated nearby stepped in to assist us, but it seemed to upset another waitress who felt her section had been disrupted. Despite it being a Friday night, the restaurant was quite empty, yet the service remained frustratingly slow. The pizza was decent, but nothing extraordinary, and the antipasto salad was disappointing. This is a solid local restaurant with a friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I visited in the late afternoon, which wasn't peak time, yet there were still plenty of diners. I tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, and the grilled salmon, though a bit dry—though I don't expect much more from farmed salmon. The lava cake was delightful. The total was a reasonable $42, especially considering I couldn't find such prices back in Vegas. Overall, my husband's local favorite gets a thumbs up! Thank you.

This is our “go to” we’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. The mussels appetizer is fantastic! So tender!! I’ve gone to upscale restaurants and they’re rubbery as heck, here I can tell you never once were they! Every meal whether it’s the chicken with broccoli rabe (organic chicken by the way) sandwich on rustic bread or the shrimp francese you will always be satisfied! Good food. Had the meatballs and pizza for dinner. Tried a companions lasagna and another's Broccoli Bolognese and both were good dishes. The small is pretty darn big. The meatballs are about the size of a lacrosse ball. Service was a little slower than expected but we did come in later around 8 and it did give us time to catch up with the group so it was all good. Definitely will come back and try other dishes.

This restaurant is not like it used to be, I recall a time the food was excellent. But this day of age, the pasta was lousy and portion controlled I ordered tortellini with Alfredo it was in a bowl and it was watery. But they still charged $17.99 for little pieces of chicken and I left still hungry. If you can I would avoid this place for awhile. I know I won't be back food was terrible.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and we hosted a large party there. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive. My only slight criticism is regarding the penne vodka; it wasn’t bad, I’d give it an 8/10, but since it's my favorite dish, I always hope for it to be a perfect 10/10. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place and would love to return myself.

I was in the mood for a good sandwich and tried this spot. I called in my order of the blackened chicken sandwich. When I arrived I parked in a lot nearby. I walked in and gave the lady my name and she grabbed my food. I paid and left. When I dug in the sandwich was really good. It was seasoned to perfection! I enjoyed it and had a good experience. Had lunch with some friends of ours and everything was delicious. The mussels were amazing. Very clean and the sauce was perfect. White pizza with spinach was even better than expected. Everyone left feeling full and happy.

Hadn’t been back here since I was a kid. 40 years ago! Used to go with my grand mother. Was in town so stopped in. Was just as I remembered it. Great old school Italian!
