At Mario's Y Polleria, the only standout item on the menu is definitely the green sauce (aji). I ordered chicken for lunch—it had some flavor but was quite tough. I also tried the salchipapa, which includes fries and hot dogs, and was charged $10 for it, even though it usually costs around $7 or $8. The hot dogs were chicken-based, and I even saw the staff buying them next door; they didn’t look very appetizing. Honestly, this place was much better when it first opened, but now it’s not worth the money. The lomo was okay, but the price has gone up from $14 to $17.

I can honestly say that the only standout item on the menu is the green sauce (ahi). I ordered chicken for lunch, and while it was flavorful, it was quite tough. I also ordered a salchipapa, which is just French fries and hot dogs, and it was priced at $10—usually, it's around $7 or $8. The hot dogs were made of chicken, and I even saw the lady go next door to buy them; they looked quite unappetizing. Trust me, this place was better when it first opened; now, it’s definitely not worth my money. The lomo was okay, but the price has increased from $14 to $17.

I can honestly say the only highlight of my visit was the green sauce (ahi). I ordered chicken for lunch, and while it had some flavor, it was rather tough. I also tried the salchipapa, which ended up being mostly French fries and hot dogs, and it was priced at $10—usually, it’s about $7 or $8. The hot dogs were just chicken ones. I noticed the woman sitting next to me ordered the same dish, and it didn't look very appetizing. The lomo was decent, but I saw that they've increased the price from $14 to $17.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Here’s a useful tip: if you want to buy their green sauce, this is the spot! They sell a large plastic container for only $5.50, which is a much better deal than El Gordo’s $10 glass jar. I’ve tried it, and you get about twice as much for half the price. Amazing food, great service, and very affordable! Réservez une table maintenant

The best Peruvian food in town! The chicken is exceptional! Mr. Mario and his team are always friendly and welcoming during our visits. Parking can be somewhat challenging due to its downtown location, and they only accept cash. It is a bit on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it!

This is my favorite restaurant! The chicken is full of flavor, and the prices are very reasonable. The owner is extremely friendly, too. I've become a regular here, haha. The food is definitely better than any other Peruvian restaurants I've tried.

I can't believe I paid $30 for a single order of the special arroz chaufa. It felt like a complete rip-off! I definitely won't be ordering from that restaurant again.
