The first place I go to in Islantilla/Urbasur every time I go and the one I miss the most in winter. It is a self-service terrace facing the sea that does not serve tables but has staff who clean the tables. They do not reserve a table and sometimes it is difficult to find a place although in the end there is always space. Both the fried foods and the seafood are 10. For me the best are the mussels, the prawns, the octopus salad, the bocas, the shrimp omelettes and the cuttlefish. The price is not bad at all, depending on what you order, but it is usually between €20/€30 on average per person. They also have take out. The service is fast and professional.
The place is quite spacious, it has many tables and at least when I went there it was not very crowded. It is not on the beach, but very close with a view and the freshness of the sea. It is completely self-service, although there are waiters clearing tables. They serve you at the bar at an astonishing speed, both food and drink (except fried, which gives you an electronic warning). The food in general is quite good, although the tortilla was highly recommended and I didn't end up falling in love with it. In general, it is a place to have a drink and a snack in the open air, I would repeat. Tuna and cheese banderillas a real discovery
I don't like how a 40-something, dark-haired waiter with sideburns treated me. Too demanding in dealing with fuss to call us. If there is a lot of work and stress there are no ways. Demanding that it be ordered quickly. I have felt uncomfortable and I have not wanted to give him a cut. Anyway, I hope that this way of working is corrected. Other waiters and waitresses are charming, great professionals. I love the food and the place.
