I had always seen this restaurant near my daughter's college, but never tried it until last night. It was amazing. The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. My daughter and I ordered a large breakfast plate with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, as well as a chicken platter with fries and two soups. I tried the lentil soup, which was superb, and my daughter loved the chicken noodle soup. I also had a Sea Breeze drink, which was perfectly made. NOTE: Not 4 years ago. (Sept. 2, 2022. Wasn't in the MT in a while and wanted a turkey BLT. Also ordered grilled cheese for a friend. Deleted in both: Fries were smashed into the To-Go container as if they were part of the sandwich and the steam of them made the roasted bread so tender and soft. And no Mayo was provided. Asked for Münster and American cheese, but only Americans got on the grilled cheese. The last few times I ordered from here, something disappeared. Overall, the MT went downhill, which is sad because I loved it earlier.
My family goes to a different restaurant every Sunday to have family breakfast. This Sunday we picked ?Mark Twain Diner?. Let me start to say, This was place has the best service. Andres gave us the best service. He got everything right. The food was amazingly delicious. I can?t wait to come back here. We love this restaurant. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Woke up in a dazed state and wanted to get breakfast for dinner, waiters overheard me wanting cheesecake AND french toast so the very kind, attentive, creative staff suggested i do both.I was then blessed with this masterpiece. This restaurant has delicious food with generous portions that are worth the money. We tried the pulled pork tacos, seafood bisque soup, cheese rice with brown gravy, and Philly steak egg rolls with a heavenly dipping sauce. The service was fantastic - very friendly and respectful. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.
you can't really complain about the service and you can't complain about eating. the ambiente has become more formal in the course of the years and the place has made hauch from fine eating here and there. From the uniforms to the work of art to the management they have actually made many improvements and the hard work show.
