I used the Amazon locker in the 1400 Waterfront Terrace Whole Foods to deliver items I ordered for my son who was moving in to his dorm. My amazom delivery message said the lockers were open until 10:00 PM. I arrived at 9:06 PM and the store workers would not let me in saying no one could enter after 9 pm. I had just flown in from across the country and I needed the items for my son's move in the next morning. I explained my situation and told them my amazon email said I could pick up until 10:00pm, but they would not accommodate me. I asked to speak to the manager and I am pretty sure the woman just brought over another employee, as she previously told me the manager was a woman and she bro...
Everyone seems to love Whole Foods so I wanted to see what the hype is about. I will say this place is clean and has a good vibe to it. Everything looks fresh and tidy. I see why people like it. There is a lot of interesting stuff in here like vegan brownies, cauliflower pizza, veggie burgers, etc. These days people are eating all sorts of interesting stuff and I guess they find it here. They do have a plethora of organic produce which my wife loves. They also have freshly cooked food and desserts which is my jam. The food is quality but you do pay for it in the sticker price. They do have free 2 hour parking so that is always a plus. The convenience is key because I wouldn't come otherwise.
I stopped by Whole Foods before Thanksgiving dinner, and the market was open until 3 PM. The entrance was beautifully decorated with holiday greens, creating a festive atmosphere. There were a lot of people shopping for food, but the place was very clean and easy to navigate through the aisles. The store was well-stocked, and the dairy products looked exceptionally fresh, with all the cheeses looking tempting. During my visit, I picked up some of my favorite Chai Diaries Chamomile Lavender Tea. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely return to Whole Foods Market. There's also plenty of parking available nearby.
This isn't truly just against this Whole foods but NJ bag mandate went into effect last week no more paper or plastic bags and in true Whole Foods fashion they introduced recycled reusable bags at a HUGE profit. 1 bag is 2.39 I know the cost to be .50 as a source these for department store in the past. Where Stop and Ship has similar bags 2.00 adder to delivery ShopRite 2 for 1.00. Stop ripping people off when you're already worth billions... I am now not only stopping whole foods because of there greed but bye bye Amazon...

I was happy to see that whole foods reached out to me to remedy the situation. However, nothing has come from it. Their communication has been disorganized and after being assured I would be emailed a gift card within 3-5 days I have not received anything (it 's been 10 days). No one is responding to my follow up emails. Very dissapointed.

When I relocated to Hoboken from the Upper West Side, I missed Citarella and Orwasher's dearly. My first visit to Whole Foods eased my nostalgia a bit.
I have a complaint about their hot bar. Last time I was there every single dish had dairy in it except potatoes. Do you know that many Americans are lactose intolerant and have milk or cheese related allergies?? Why does fish have to have milk in it???? Can you have at least half dishes without dairy? I would really appreciate it.
The food quality here is hit or miss. Whole Foods produce had gone down in quality. Possibly because of mass production or not storing at the right temperatures. We need a Bristol farms in the area. I've had mildewed or stale products from this location a few times. It's gross.

Today, in addition to dealing with rude personal shoppers, I encountered a cashier who couldn't even muster a simple greeting or thank you; he only asked for payment. This has truly dampened any desire I had to continue shopping here.
Convenient for someone who takes the light rail and just needs to pick up a quick snack and more
