I hadn't visited Marks and Spencer Cafe in Wellingborough for some. My daughter and I went for lunch there yesterday. We were very disappointed to see they were only now offering soup, toasted sandwiches or cakes. We opted for two toasted sandwiches, a small latte,...and a smoothie. It was hard to distinguish what the filling in the sandwiches was, it was so tasteless and not even a bit of salad to go with them. The latte was so weak, it tasted as if milk and water had been added to the dregs of a coffee cup. The smoothie was fine. We paid I was shocked and will not be making a return visit.
after the previous reviews it obviously has not improved. the employees do not clean the tables or remove used items. they stood behind the counter and did not care about the cleanliness of the sitting area. that eat is prepared so that there is no food. to make preparation. do it well!
A quiet café but cosy with very helpful staff. Everything freshly made and nicely prepared. Sorry the new Rushden Lakes complex appears at the moment to have reduced the customer base. Hopefully will return. Wellingborough needs you there
Good Carrot cake, latte, and lovely staff. I always stop by whenever I grocery shop at M&S. Tried all cakes, not disappointed so far. Savoury options available are also tasty. Good for brunch or lunch or if you just fancy nibbles.

It's just a cafe nothing more nothing less, usual cake selection nothing is actually cooked on the premises but just heated up. Staff friendly but there are better places to go to with a better selection of snacks.
OK so it is M S with friendly staff at the front of an M S food hall so you get what you would expect at a price you would expect as you build up your strength before or after shopping...for food
roasted sandwich dropping what they would expect that a roasted to it was soggy in the middle and soft cold brot absolutely disgusting and a cup tee total complete money waste will never return
I have eaten here several times and it is standard M&S fare, but the staff are particularly friendly and helpful here. A good place to grab a coffee and toastie and I can recommend it!

try them, coffee and cakes here most of the weekends. always comfortable, always a pleasure! they are looking forward to the re-entering when they join and make sure to do this.
