We were traveling through the area on a cycling holiday from Australia and popped in for some fish and chips en route. We’re sure glad we did! The service from Andy and Leslie was amazing and the food, let’s just say they were the best fish and chips we’ve ever had! We’d recommend trying the fish and chips with Irish curry and mushy peas, followed by the pork sausage, Yorkshire fish cake and rounding it out with a battered Mars bar. I’d give 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The local fish and chips were fantastic, and the service was both friendly and attentive, thanks to Andy. I highly recommend trying the fried spats from the Christmas special, and my personal favorite was definitely the fish cake.

This is my local fish shop and haven’t ever faulted it, great tasty food and such a lovely set of staff! Honestly can say this is By far my favourite fish and chip shop and I’m very happy it’s back open Since this has always been the best since I was at school.

Fantastic fish and chips great staff and a wonderful delivery service in this particular trying times when we couldn't get out to eat the care we was shown was impeccable thank you and my very fussy grandson loved the Irish curry sauce xx Réservez une table maintenant

This evening, I tried them for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The fish was of good quality, and the chips were fantastic. The portion sizes were generous as well! I will definitely be back.

Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Fish was sweet and juicy...batter was perfect. Ten out of ten for the chips too. Smashing man serving. Highly recommend this wonderful chippy!!

Say hello to Andy and ask him about my favorites: the cadjau, which pairs perfectly with Andy's famous curry sauce. This is the best fish and chip shop in Yorkshire!

Hands down the best fish and chip shop around and I live near lanes so you know it's a good one. Top old bloke frying as well
