Marlet Playa - Réserver une table

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel as it was just next door. We wanted it to be good but it was awful! There were two waiters one young one who seemed quite dynamic and an older one who seemed to just messed everything up. We arrived about 7.30pm, he didn't take our drink orders, gave menus to people who came after us, messed up our orders, didn't bring the starters we asked for. Basically if you were looking to do everything wrong as a waiter he did it! Like I said, the younger one seemed more dynamic but your experience shouldn't hang on pot luck as to who you get to serve you. The food was like motorway service station food and nothing special. We were 4 adults and 2 children from the moment we turned up our waitress was attentive and really friendly (Sete). Our drinks were delivered by a smiley guy and our food orders were again taken speedily. The food was amazing the nachos, bacon toast and Russian salad were really original and incredibly tasty. The only downside and the reason for dropping one star was the woman at the bar when my daughter went to pay for ice cream. She first of all ignored her, then tutted, rolled her eyes and practically threw the change at her. Such a shame as all the other staff were lovely.

This is the second year that we return. This year the quality of the food has plummeted, we ordered an angus hamburger and it was the Mercadona hamburger with Mercadona bread. A Caesar salad that only had croutons and lettuce, we couldn 't find the chicken. Knew it was a bad sign when we walked in and the place was practically empty. I had a steak and it was 50% fat! Truely horrible. Avoid.

Honestly, I have a lot. the simple very soft and of quality. and the focaccia equal, with tender bread. I recommend it.
