Marquess Tavern

I was keen to visit this old haunt of mine so, despite the atrocious weather, I walked for just over 20 minutes to get there, arriving 10 minutes after the advertised opening. The lights were on, but, but no one was home. Nobody answered the phone. I wish I could comment on the following categories but obviously I can’t. I won’t be going back, no wonder its reputation locally is so poor.

Me and my friends went down when k returned after leaving the UK and the choice couldn't be better. Delicious food, really nice drinks, fantastic atmosphere and incredible service. Special mention to Spenzer, couldn't find any better persom at the service bar to make my night perfect. thanks thanks and thanks

I popped in for a couple of pints of ale with some friends, it was early afternoon on a Friday and was very quiet. I am looking forward to returning in the summer and I hope to try the food next time. Great location, just by the river.

Cosy little gem, great atmosphere, incredible food. Sunday roast to die for! The roast pork was amazing! We also tried the vegan hot dogs which were so tasty. Would highly recommend for a pint or a bite

Great pub, good beer, reasonable prices. Jordan was a very friendly barman who made us feel very welcome with his charming banter. Will definitely visit again
