After hearing the stories of how good it was- even suggesting it was the best in Sydney, and people lining up down the street, we finally found a reason to stop by and try it out.Was it better than our regular pork roll place. Yes.Was it the best I've ever had? Its a tough one. It was nice, with a fresh crispy roll, nice range of vegetables and the sauces were great. It was enjoyable, and I'd have it again, but I think in our minds we'd built it up to be so good, that it didn't deliver as mind blowing.But, I would still recommend you try it out.
What to say... there are plenty of places that sell fresh Vietnamese pork rolls on a bun, but are there are none better than this tiny, frantic little shop on Illawarra Road. Recognise it by the long line of people on the street outside waiting to place an order. Luckily, the ladies behind the counter are super speedy, the rolls extra fresh and crispy and the fillings fresh and generous. At $5.00 a roll, this is an excellent value, fresh and healthy lunch or snack option.
Fresh, crispy french baguette with very flavourful meats/seasonings/pickled vegetables.It's a must-go for me every weekend when i was living in other suburbs. When an opportunity came for me to purchase a property in Marrickville, this little pork roll place is one of the deciding factor for me. yeah, yeah, I know, sad.. I picked a property based on a pork roll. :)
Was having lunch with family and a friend so decided to try this restaurant as it had seating. What a mistake. The bread roll was not crunchy and the filling did not taste fresh.Even, my grandchildren who lives pork roll refused to finish their roll.Take my advice, go next door to the original Marrickville Pork Roll in their hole in the wall.What a waste of money!

This cheap eatery is clean, organised and serves incredibly fresh rolls. They specialize on Vietnamese bread rolls. It is a hole in the wall with fantastic fast food. Best pork roll we have ever had including the ones in Vietnam. Well worth the journey.
I live in the next suburb over and I cannot walk past this place without getting a roll! Ingredients always fresh and delicious, for $4.50 you can't go wrong.
