The weather was very bad When we arrived we both ordered a ice cream. Asked if we was allowed to sit down just for 5 minutes to rest after pur long walk and was soaking wet in the rain. We was both very tied and we was in our early 70s The young girl behide the counter said it wasn't allowed I explained we had walked here for 40 min in the rain just wanted to rest . I've always like Marroccos it's a very authentic Italian restaurant that does not only great seafood, but also great standard Italian fare (Pasta, Bruschetta etc). It used to be cheaper and better value for money, but then everything has gone up in price, and eating out is no longer a cheap option anywhere. The service I have always found as efficient and very decent. Never had any issues on the multiple times I've been unlike some of the reviews on here. I do sometimes wonder what people expect these days. One comment I would make is that I do find it incredible that people think the restaurant not allowing people who have only purchased an ice cream to use the tables is somehow out of orde...
What a gem of a restaurant! When we first arrived, there was a huge line (for the ice cream counter; the entrance is to the right of that). The food itself was top-notch, 5 stars all the way! The flavors were incredible and the dishes were served promptly, despite the busy crowd. The chefs were meticulous and the staff were friendly and attentive, always with a smile on their faces. Special shoutout to our waiter Christo, who was also fantastic. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!
I made a reservation for a birthday dinner celebration at this restaurant. I had enjoyed the food and generous portion sizes during a previous visit, but this time I noticed a significant decline in both. The calamari starter, which cost £10.25, only had around 7 small pieces. The pizza was overly oily, and the fish and batter were undercooked. The chicken and pasta dish also came with a minimal amount of spaghetti. While the service was fast, the overall quality of the food was disappointing. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Used to be lovely Ice cream 30 yeas ago apart from the manager who always really leery and handsy with women Now very rude unhelpull waiter who know nothing about italin food or service he wanted to charge me for on packet of coctail sticks
This fantastic family-owned restaurant serves delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Their homemade ice cream is outstanding. The portion sizes are generous and the pasta is cooked perfectly. The service is friendly and efficient.
Good wholesome food, friendly service by Hove seafront. This place is a long standing Hove restaurant and a bit of an institution, especially for its ice creams (from the front window). You can't go wrong here.
Great ice cream, great flavours,, a constant queue, for a reason, server was a little sarcastic, hopefully this was in jest.would definitely use again( all the time if I lived here)

Ice cream was so good I went back and tried different flavours every day we were there. My favourite was the blueberry.
Best ice cream in Brighton Hove. Always a great variety, friendly staff. Extremely reasonable prices for the portion.
