Marta is probably one of the top authentic Italian restaurants in Sydney. Don't be fooled by the typical red and white checkered tablecloths and fake wine bottles, this place is the real deal. They serve traditional Roman dishes like carciofi alla Giudia and tonnarelli cacio e pepe, as well as amazing Roman-style pizza. The owner, Flavio, is passionate about what he offers and it shows. This is not just another trendy pretend-Italian place in town. Give Marta a try, you won't regret it!
positive experience. the food was good and the ambiente was also good. only the problem was the service that was so and so. had to remember the waiters about missing wein and water all the time. not overall happy and will return
a mixed result. the auberginenparmigiana was excellent and one of the best I had. the bratlachs was boiled, dry and the accompanying parsnip strips were soggy and tasteless.
