This place did not live upto its hype. The barbecue sauce was acidic and vinegary and the sausages came out warm not hot as if they had just been reheated. If you’re looking for a reprieve from a hot day this is not the place. There’s no A/C here. The entrance wait line was disorganized with the door constantly opened, letting all the humidity and hot air in. The Mac’n’cheese was pretty good, but I wasn’t really impressed with the rest of the food. We had their brisket and sausages.
Great atmosphere, but that’s the end of the story. I’ve had bbq all over the south and this one has to be close to the worst. The bbq sauce is as thin as water and made the chips soggy in just a second, the nachos had cheese under the chips that was stuck to the paper, the slaw was as sweet as pecan pie (yuck), the wings have a weird spice in the rub that was a bit of a turn off for me, but others may like. I can’t figure out why this place is rated so highly.
I stopped by for lunch during a day trip from Atlanta and was pleased to find no line or wait. The staff was friendly and provided helpful information. However, we found that many of the dishes contained pork or pork fat, which made them unsuitable for our group. The wings were flavorful but extremely salty. The nachos were delicious, but they had very little brisket on them.
The Kid Brother Sampler is definitely more than enough for one person; it's actually best suited for two to three people for a satisfying lunch, leaving some space for dessert. The brisket is absolutely delicious, and the pulled pork is impressive as well. You'll receive three slices of bread, two sides, and a generous portion of meat. Réservez une table maintenant
One of the best BBQ dry rubbed spare ribs!! The ribs were tender and fell off the ribs while still having a juicy flavorful taste. Will surely return if I’m back in Nashville. This platter was a 4-rib platter and was more than enough for 1 person.
Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere did have a great southern home feeling. However, I was a little disappointed in the BBQ. It wasn't what I was expecting and the nachos became very watered down. The macaroni was on point though!
Great food! Had the platter for 2. The first floor is cafeteria style. Don’t expect the same vibe as the bars with bands playing. You go there for the fantastic bbq. Go upstairs for live music and a better vibe
I had a fantastic sampler for two, and the wings were amazing. I would definitely go back. My only criticism is that the brisket included in the platter was quite fatty, so I would take off a star for that. Réservez une table maintenant
The ribs are so soft and so delicious!! I got mine with the sauce. Great atmosphere. Good portion of food for the value.
