Marts Fish And Chips

The cod at this restaurant comes with the skin on and lots of bones, making it soggy and greasy. The cod roe had a weird and tangy taste, as if it was off. Overall, I was disappointed and felt like it was a waste of money as most of the dish ended up in the bin. The only redeeming quality was the chips, but even those were cold and soggy.

I first tried Marts 13 years ago. Back then there was black bits on the Chips. I thought I'd give it another try today and guess what.... Yes still has black bits! I don't think they clean their fryers properly. Why doesn't any other chip shop have black bits in their chips? Won't be going back.

First time ordering.sorry to say it will be the last . The fish was covered in batter better described as shoe leather.chips in a ball and greasy. My partner said the saveloy was tough and was the worst he had ever tasted. I cannot believe that on just eat they have such a good score.

Great fish and chips. Me and my partner always went to other chip shops in the centre of farnborough, but no more! The customer service is so much better here than other places, and the fish and chips are great. Will always reccomend! Réservez une table maintenant

Perfect fish and chips. Ordered Haddock. Lovely light batter. Delicious chips. Very,very good : I was going to have a cheese and onion pasty but fortunately they didn't have any

The restaurant wasn't terrible, but I was confused as to why the battered fish was served with the skin on. It's not something you would typically see (or want) up North.

Cod Chips. swimming in oil. Barely edible. Never again. Everything is in the warming tray so not freshly cooked. I could go on. Réservez une table maintenant

The fish cake from this restaurant is the best in the local area! The chips are hot, but some may be soggy and stuck together.

Used Mart's for decades,but now terrible. Black bits on chips, fish skin burn. Needs separate fryers.
