I was there for the second time. the donburi was really nice last time. this time I decided to order the Tempura set. the staff at the cash register told me that it would take a bit, and she gave me a warm welcome for the long waiting period. it tasted very good. I will come back and try others on the menu! for those who decide to come here and not want to be as confused as I first time: if they enter the main entrance, they will find on the left side that they are a long theke, at the bento (packed foods) to be taken along and various sushi and fried things will be sold. go straight ahead on the other side, there will be another theke with menu on the wall. there will be another chaplain wh...

I am going to Maruyasu now since years. The Maruyasu in the Shadow Center is my favourite. It's obvious that this for me is the best Sushi in town. Big selection with variety, and yummy taste. The Shadow center gets a Star Review...from me. BUT the Maruyasu on Immermann Strasse is making me unhappy. The last times I have been here this year I always had a bad experience with the service. I like the ambience and the space otherwise I wouldn't have come back so many times. The Employees always look little bit dreamy. Once I had a huge meal and came back after min to use the toilet the lady (who served me) aggressed me how I could dare to use the restrooms as a tourist. Yesterday I asked for ex...

I went there solo for the second time. The Donburi was really nice last time. This time I decided to order Tempura set. Staff at the cashier told me it would take a bit, and she gave me a shot of warm sake for the...long wait. It was delicious. I'll come again and try other things on the menu! For those who decide to come here and don't want to be so confused as I was the first time: once you get in the main entrance, on your left there'll be a long counter that sell bento (boxed food) for take-away, and varieties of sushi and fried stuff. Keep walking straight on the far side, there'll be another counter with menu on the wall. There'll be another cashier that takes your order if you want to...

if they have to eat in düsseldorf quickly for lunch and love japanese, this small delicacies shop is just the right one for them. freshly prepared foods are shown daily at the theke with a large selection (all types of: sushi nigiri, maki, uramaki, but also gyoza, fried dishes, etc.). at the small tables (only 4) you can set up a lunch menu, take it or eat it before the place. the two lively and cheerful ladies at the theke seem tireless, the atmosphere is family and the eating delicious. I eat here often at midday if I only have my free 20-30 minutes, and I would definitely recommend it. only open until 19 clock. Réservez une table maintenant

tried maruyasus new generous outposts in the evermannstraße. it is nice to sit in this open space with natural light, and the huge sushi selection is as good as ever. the sushi is always fresh, and usually I go to a big teller with nigiri and maki. I like maruyasu because it is open in the afternoon. all other sushi restaurants close after 14:00 clock until dinner. but sometimes I've had a late lunch and go here. there is also a suppen / tempura place on the back of the restaurant, but I have not yet tried this place. .

Tried Maruyasu's new spacious outpost on Immermannstraße. It's nice sitting in this open space with natural light, and the huge sushi selection is as good as ever. The sushi is always fresh, and I normally go for a large plate of nigiri and maki. I...like Maruyasu because it's open in the afternoon, too. All the other sushi restaurants close after PM until dinner time. But sometimes I feel like a late lunch and go here. There is also a soup/tempura place at the back of the restaurant, but I didn't try this place yet...

The sushi were individually packed in pieces of plastic, which should've already be a red flag for me. We were hungry and every other Japanese restaurants were full. Aside from that the sushi was very expensive and not fresh at all. The salmon looked pale,...and the rice was hard.

The sushi was OK for fast food style, not Special. Rice was soft fish was fresh. The hot meals were normal. They only have udon and the seaweed soup was like water with a few seaweed. Overall for a quick lunch it is Ok Réservez une table maintenant
