Mary Brown's Chicken

I was quite hungry and decided to try Mary Brown because I heard they don’t use frozen chicken like restaurants such as McDonald's and Subway. I ordered the spicy Big Mary sandwich, but I found it wasn't very spicy. It features deep-fried chicken sandwiched between some regular cheese. I also noticed they don't seem to offer any non-deep-fried chicken options. While the taste was good, I thought it was a bit pricey. However, I discovered an interesting deal: on Mondays, the Big Mary Brown Sandwich is nearly half off. Otherwise, a regular-sized sandwich will run you around $10.

Unfortunately, this location seems to be declining. While the staff remains wonderful, the quality of the food has seriously decreased. Big Mary's is now serving frozen Sysco-style patties instead of the hand-breaded pieces I used to love. Additionally, my coworker has received chicken nuggets rather than tenders the last two times he ordered, and they were only about the size of a ketchup packet. Until they improve the food quality, I'm giving this Mary Brown's a thumbs down.

I tried the spicy and unique Big Mary for $3.99 on a Monday, and it was an excellent deal! The sandwiches were served hot and fresh. The spicy version definitely has some kick to it! It features crispy, tender white meat, tangy pickles, creamy sauce, and a soft sesame bun. Honestly, it's better than many fast food chicken sandwiches. The cashier was friendly too, and I appreciated that social distancing measures were in place.

I have always enjoyed your food, as it brings back fond memories of home, but I'm afraid I have to voice my disappointment. When did the chicken tenders transform into oversized popcorn chicken? These don't resemble tenders at all; they look more like wing tips. Is this the new standard? I recently heard about the opening of a new Mary Brown's, so we decided to check it out. It was Sunday around noon, and there was no line. The server was friendly and clearly knew her stuff. Don't forget to grab the coupons available on the counter! The chicken was as delicious, crispy, and hot as always, and the wedges were perfectly done—not too salty at all. I give it 5 stars!

The fries were cold and poorly portioned. My Mary Brown burger had no pickles and barely any lettuce. To top it off, the Pepsi was warm. I emailed the company as soon as I got home, but I haven't received a response. I also reached out on Facebook and got no reply there either. They've lost a valuable customer.

We encountered a significant issue during our family meal when we found a large piece of hair in our food. When we requested a replacement, the staff made it difficult for us. The so-called manager was not apologetic at all and appeared to be irritated by our complaint.

The service at this restaurant is consistently outstanding! I hardly ever have to wait long. The spicy Big Mary is a perfect choice every time. I almost always leave with a smile on my face. The staff is incredibly attentive, and they all deserve a raise! Réservez une table maintenant
