We were very excited to try this cute restaurant while staying in Lloret de Mar. We found it randomly on a Tuesday afternoon and were turned away as it was “impossible” to get a table without a reservation. We made a reservation and returned 2 days later for lunch. To say that it did not meet expectations is an understatement. We waited at least 30min before our drinks orders were taken, it was almost 1,5 hours by the time the entrees arrived. With 2 small children all the waiting was just unbearable! The food was not bad, the grilled prawns were really fresh and the lobster and monk- fish stew was tasty, while the risotto was just okay. The kids menu was not great and we received the wrong mains dishes, but after all the waiting the kids just ate it. The experience can be summed up as a lot of waiting and frustration; all the while no one came to talk to us or apologize for getting the wrong meals and long time taken for drinks to arrive after being ordered. Although they did not charge for 2 beverages, I guess as compensation. I have no doubt that this could be was a great restaurant, I think they have become very complacent when it comes to service. For Michelin we expected a lot better.

The location is great, the service average. The menu is long, but the resulting dishes are like a time travel back to the 1970s and 1980s. The basic battered calamari was super market quality. Too much batter. The house salad was a few lettuce leaves, 2 anchovies, some grated carrot, 2 halves of an onion, half a boiled egg, a few un pitted olives with a timbale of salt cod. The Navarra asparagus starter was unpleasant seems people like their asparagus wet and limp. The hake with prawns and clams was OK but nothing to get excited about and covered in sauce. The best food were the canapes amuses bouches at the start. Sorry, but not a place I would revisit or recommend. One restaurant the grandparents would enjoy.

This restaurant should not be in the Michelin guide at all. Even though the service was ok, the food itself was very bad and confusing. I ordered a “salad with cod” that turned out to be more like a ceviche than a salad. The “garden salad” was just a plate of vegetables without any dressing. The only good things were amuse bouche and bread. However, when our orders start to came out, everything went wrong. I do not recommend this place!

Most beauty in the region, friendly staff and amazing disches. the food is fresh and price quality top. also the cava of the house is very good and there is a nice big wine list to choose from.
