Listen. I rarely leave reviews, and most of the time they aren?t raving. As I sit here in the ambiance of downtown Aberdeen soaking in the most perfect atmosphere. The music is just right, the sounds of the kitchen, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and delicious entrees fill the air. I don?t even like cinnamon rolls but they have cracked the code, perfected the recipe that will now be a weekly staple for me (assuming I can wait a week to indulge in one of the greatest if not the greatest breakfast pastry I?ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing). We have not yet had a bad experience at Mason 's. Curiously tucked into a little space that faces the Aberdeen rail, it might be easy to miss this breakfast paragon if you were not looking.Not to be confused with Mac 's Breakfast Anytime on Highway 1 near the border of Aberdeen and Southern Pines, Mason 's is miles away in downtown Aberdeen, what I like to call Old Aberdeen. My family and friends were in the area visiting and stopped by to get some good breakfast before starting our day. The food was amazing! The toast was fluffy airy and just melted in my mouth. This was the best toast that we had ever ate. Potatoes were crispy not oily and tasted super freshly cooked. Pancakes are amazingly delicious and huge! The blueberries strawberries were big, juicy sweet, and delicious. Ms. Joy (I believe was her name elder lady helping us) she was extremely sweet, attentive friendly. Service was Amazing and the regular menu food as always was delicious. Train Wreck was Delicious while the over yonder Eggs Benedict was perfection. Would love to see more appealing choices for the children's menu. Choices of seasonal fruit or other toppings like chocolate chips added to the hot cakes and french toast along with one scrambled egg included in each menu option. Réservez une table maintenant

First time of many more to come! We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table for 2 but well worth the wait. ****, well look at it! My Birdies Hot Mess was so tasty and biscuit was delicious. Wife had Fried Green Tomato BLT and fries and couldn?t finish it because it was humongous. Only critique would be the fries were soggy but still tasty. Definitely going back again.

Having received mixed personal reviews, my family and I decided to give it a try. I everyone was pleased with the food and service. They've done a great job with the atmosphere/decor. We hit it at around a good brunch time and the family had breakfast, and I had the smash burger. Great all the way around.

Good food served here. They have all day breakfast which was what we had. She had a omelet and I had waffles. We shared both, good to the last bit. All made in kitchen. Come by and see the good folks at Mason's, why don'tcha I just don't see why wantcha..

Food and sweet tea were phenomenal! I'm still thinking about that sausage gravy so, so good. My server was attentive and very kind. It's a smaller place and was crowded when I went, so it was a bit loud, but no complaints otherwise. Réservez une table maintenant

Service and food were good. For me personally, it was just too noisy, very loud. My husband and I could not hear each other talk. Sadly, for this reason, we will not be returning!

Really love the food. Some of the best in the area. Sadly, you have to yell your entire meal as it's always full and the dining room is extremely loud.
