Matsu Sushi - Réservation de table

I normally go to golden chopsticks in cobourg for my sashimi but thought I would try matsu east city in Peterborough. One of the bad experiences I have had in Peterborough for sushi. Once again my salad I ordered the avacado salad was wilted and avacado was brown. The tuna sashimi was warm and so small not the worth the 26 dollars I spent on a wilted avacado salad and barley any tuna thrown in a to go package. I recommend taking the drive to cobourg to golden chopsticks if you want quality sushi for what you pay. Matsu was over priced for what they serve. Can’t say I’m going back.

Quick service. Delicious food. Comfortable setting. Private booths have their own coat hooks. Sliding dividers between private booths allow larger groups to be together. Staff is flexible when we had to leave for an appointment right when the main meal was served,they took it back and packaged it up with care, adding all we would need to enjoy our food on the run. We'll definitely return!!

This is the third sushi restaurant I’ve tried in Peterborough, and I don’t think I’m ever going anywhere else! We tried Matsu a few days ago with friends and I ordered again tonight via Door Dash. It’s absolutely delicious. Try the top-spicy salmon (maki)...so good!!!

Poor. Ordered chicken teriyaki rolls. Chicken was awful! Rubbery and taste was off. Called to give my input and I was told no one else complained. Like that matters, didn’t offer to make up anything. Wasted my money. Will not be eating here again. Réservez une table maintenant

My wife and daughter went here for lunch recently. Service (server 888) was fast and friendly. Food (two sushi combos; fleming and matsu) and some fried rice were all good. Total, with water to drink, was $78 with tax, plus tip.

Sashimi was very fresh. Wish there was more variety though, but the salmon, tuna and butterfish we had were all very good. Kids also loved their tempura udon and seafood udon. Friendly staff and cozy seats.

My wife and I visited here for lunch with our two, young adult daughters. Service was fast and friendly. Sushi and fried rice were both hot and fresh. Total was $75 with tax, before tip.

I love, love, love, love Matsu Sushi. Although we can't afford it all the time (God, to be wealthy and not a social scientist), it is our go-to special Réservez une table maintenant

This is very popular in town and has great sushi. Cute restaurant with good service. They do take out too which is always fresh.
