So I reserved a place in the sushi bar. the restaurant radiates a 100% Japanese atmosphere. the hostess, receive me kindly and she also brought me to my place in the sushi bar. I chose the six-course speciality menu with sukiyaki and a little ebi tempura to go with the aperitif. An unbelievable experience. Really high class cuisine paired with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. It is like taking a trip to Japan itself. Wonderfully designed furnitures, traditional Japanese decorations and a nice and comfortable service. Indeed it is expensive but it's absolutely worth it. From...Sushi to Sukiyaki-everything is a top-notch experience. Just combine it with the outstanding tea and you have a wonderful experience that won't be forgotten.
This is the only place that truly feels like Japan and all of Hamburg. Food can be a little bit bland and lacking imagination in this city, although restaurants and stars are plentiful. Having lived in the city for a couple of years and try...any new Asian or Japanese restaurants I can definitely say this is still my absolute favorite and definitely my go to place solo or with friends to enjoy excellent sushi and other delightful Japanese bites.
