Maurice River Diner

We came here from Pennsylvania to meet up with some of our family members for a luncheon Reunion. Everyone liked their meals . My mother enjoyed her appetizer of Crab stuffed mushrooms. She had a huge slice of Cheesecake topped with Strawberries for dessert. I had a salad first, then broiled flounder, scallops and crab stuffed shrimp with applesauce and coleslaw . I brought more than half of my meal home, so did my mother. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very welcoming ,friendly and efficient. The host was very nice and had opened the doors for us when we arrived and when we all were leaving. The Menu has a wide selection to choose from and the prices are very reasonable...

My friend and I made the trip to the shore specifically to dine at the Maurice River Diner. We got there around 8:40 PM. Just as my friend was parking the car, we noticed a busboy knocking on the diner’s window. I had just checked the website, which indicated that the diner closes at 10 PM. Since we traveled from Delaware County to eat here, we won’t be returning to this diner again.

Just was there for breakfast and boy....you waited for coffee and your order. Order comes out and of course it was wrong. You can not have one waitress serving 6 tables. Had to find someone to get me coffee. Use to be a nice place. No more.prices up, service down. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I had the unfortunate experience of dining here, and it was truly the worst food I've ever tasted. The dishes were not at all as described on the menu.
