Max Dale's Steak Chop House

It is sad when you go to a well known restaurant and they feel (for a lack of full understanding as to why) they have the right to undermine a paying customer. Jim and I went to Max Dale's in Mount Vernon WA for his continued birthday celebration. We ordered their top beef selection which was a 16oz prime rib. It was a strange consistence and I made comment to the waitress regarding the steaks. She said that when medium well is ordered that they prepare their prime rib rare, and then to gain a more higher prep boil the meat in au jus sauce to reach medium well. I had never heard of such a thing. My first job after graduating from Culinary School, was in a high end steak house in Jamestown NY...

This is a great place to eat. My wife and I will often travel 45 minutes from Oak Harbor to eat here. The food is good and they have very high backed boothes. They also have a bar area you can sit at and a very nice and cozy waiting area. It has a nice atmosphere. I only have 2 small complaints. First, you have to pay for the bread (which is very good and worth the price). Second, they do not offer baked potatoes.

Despite some negative reviews, our family of seven had a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Four generations of my family gathered around the table, and even my great-granddaughter enjoyed the peaceful ambiance. The privacy of the layout was a particularly enjoyable feature.

My friends took me out for dinner at Max Dale's to celebrate my birthday. The interior was charming with a lot of wood and beveled glass, giving it a cozy feel. You could tell that the restaurant has been around for a while. Réservez une table maintenant

We really enjoyed our visit to the restaurant, but we were surprised to find that the menu was completely different from what was advertised on YELP. Additionally, the pricing was on average about $15.00 more for each item.

My friend and I tried out this restaurant last night and we were very impressed. The food was delicious. Our server, Monique, was attentive and accommodating. The drinks were fantastic! We will definitely be returning.

We had a great time at trivia night on Thursdays. The bar is nice and the service is friendly. However, the steaks were disappointing. The prime rib and pork chops are the standout dishes at this restaurant.

The steak was overly salty, but overall everything else was excellent. The meat was tender and juicy, and the demi glaze was exceptional.

This restaurant is amazing with excellent service, delicious food, and we have visited multiple times. I highly recommend this place.
